Our story

Our Vision

khesed · Hebrew (n.) — steadfast, covenantal love that never fails. A growing sisterhood of women in Lawton, Oklahoma — deepening faith, living with purpose, and walking together.

At Khesed Initiative, we are guided by khesed — the steadfast, faithful love of God that calls us to care deeply for one another. This ministry was created to provide women with spaces of encouragement, connection, and spiritual renewal.

We believe every woman has a purpose rooted in God’s love. Through fellowship and discipleship, we are building a community where faith grows, hearts are restored, and women are empowered to impact their families and communities for Christ.

Stones at the Wall

A virtual intercessory prayer circle for women

“What can I do to help you? Tell me, what do you have in your house?” “Your servant has nothing there at all,” she said, “except a small jar of olive oil.” Elisha said, “Go around and ask all your neighbors for empty jars. Don't ask for just a few.”

2 Kings 4:2-3

She had one small jar of oil and a debt she couldn't pay. Elisha didn't tell her to find more — he told her to go borrow empty jars from everyone she knew. The oil didn't stop pouring until every jar she gathered was full.

That's the heart behind Stones at the Wall — a private prayer circle for women in the Khesed community. None of us has to carry enough faith alone. What feels like a small, barely-enough request becomes something different when it's poured into a room of borrowed vessels — women willing to hold it in prayer alongside you.
