Fellowship Gathering

Brunch & Barter

An Offering & Receiving Gathering

Every woman carries something of value — a skill she's developed, a talent she's nurtured, something she's created with her hands, or a gift she may not even recognize in herself. And sometimes, the very thing that comes easily to one woman is something another has been hoping to learn, experience, or receive.

Join the Khesed Initiative for Brunch & Barter, a unique morning of fellowship, meaningful conversation, and exchanging the gifts we already carry. This isn't a flea market, clothing swap, or traditional shopping event. No buying, no selling, no money exchanged — just generosity, creativity, and connection.

Bring a handcrafted item, a useful home treasure, or a written description of a skill or service you're willing to share, and during our guided exchange, women will share their offerings and discover opportunities to bless one another. There are no price tags, purchases, or expectations of equal monetary value — exchanges are voluntary and arranged by mutual agreement.

To keep the morning focused on thoughtful offerings, creativity, and shared talents, we will not accept clothing, shoes, damaged items, or items intended simply for disposal. All physical items should be clean, functional, and in excellent condition, and homemade foods should be clearly labeled with ingredients and allergens.

You don't need a business, a professional skill, or something expensive to participate. Perhaps you make the best homemade preserves, have a beautiful vase sitting unused on a shelf, or know how to do something another woman has always wanted to learn. Bring a gift. Share a talent. Discover the beauty of receiving.

What to expect

  • What to Offer

Homemade and handcrafted goods, skills and talents like hair braiding or résumé help, gently used home treasures in excellent condition, or gifts of time and encouragement — nothing expensive or elaborate required.

  • How the Exchange Works

Consider what you can offer, share what you would love to receive, make meaningful connections, then give and receive freely by mutual agreement.

  • No Buying, No Selling

No money is exchanged and there are no price tags — just generosity, creativity, and connection.

  • What We Can't Accept

To keep the morning focused, no clothing, shoes, damaged items, or items intended for disposal; homemade foods should be labeled with ingredients and allergens.

  • Come With What You Have

You don't need a business, a professional skill, or something expensive — what you have to offer may be exactly what another woman needs.

“As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”
1 Peter 4:10 (KJV)
